Dead Poets Society: Carpe Diem

 Hello, dear readers!

Me and my friends Buse and Gülşen did a film review on Dead Poets Society and our peers Elena, Berfin and Baran expressed their opinions on it, you can access each of their blogs by tapping on their names! The task was assigned to us by our professor, she asked us to review a film by first introducing its background and then continuing with a plot summary. After that, we were assigned to choose 3 aspects of the movie such as music, costumes, actor choices etc. Lastly we gave our last ideas and rated the movie. I worked in the first paragraph, decoration and also the aspects part! Also, you can have access to the review page to take a look for yourself by clicking here!

Here is a screenshot of the review page and one of the comments from my peers! I suggest checking the full page because there are over 5 comments and I am afraid that if i share all of them here, the post will be unnecessarily long!

With my teammates, we first re-watched the movie, then did a distribution on the tasks. The process was fun and everyone did great! I would love to work on a task like this again! We used Google Docs as a collaborative writing tool and to be fair, it is a staple when I am doing peer work. I always use and recommend Google Docs to everyone I have worked with because it is free, accessible and has a lot of features that make the task of writing a lot easier. Plus, it is very beginner friendly and not as complex as other apps or websites designed for collaborative writing, meaning that as a future teacher, I can recommend this to my students with an ease of mind knowing that they will not struggle or encounter any obstacles. It is also really safe since it is private and does not allow any of the personal information to be leaked to other parties! Thank you so much if you read this far!

Take care and stay safe!
